Meet Andrea
Dr. Reyes is a licensed psychologist registered with the Order of Psychologists of Quebec (OPQ).
She works with individuals and couples. She also offers clinical supervision to new therapists and has facilitated group processes in the past. She also believes in the judicious and legal use of psychedelics within a larger therapy container to treat treatment-resistant depression and PTSD (for more information on her work in this field please consult the psychedelic clinic she forms a part of https://refugepsychology.com/).
Her training and life experiences have led her to specialize and work with clients who are seeking to work more comprehensively with body, mind and soul.
After her doctoral training she decided to better equip herself to bridge the mind and body divide often overlooked in traditional clinical trainings. As such, she pursued training in Embodied Inquiry, an introductory training in Internal Family Systems and she is currently completing certification as a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (Year 1 and 2 completed; year 3 will be completed in 2026).
She has also completed over 200 hours of training in Psychedelic-Assisted therapy and has provided Ketamine-Assisted Therapy as well as psilocybin-assisted therapy (through Health Canada’s Special Access Program) to clients in the past.
